Digital Readout For Use With
Electronic Or Mechanical Scales
Electronic Scales are equipped with
a load cell in each of the mixer's four corners. A channel iron framework is provided
above and bellow the load cells to support scale and mixer.
Mechanical Scales are provided with
a load cell attached to the transverse lever which sends information to the digital
readout.
Weight is continuously displayed in
bright numerals as it increases or decreases on the scale and may be registered in either
pounds or kilograms with the push of a button. Push buttons are also provided to show net,
tare or gross weight on the scale at any time. Built-in jacks allow information to be fed
from indicator to a printer or computer. Information entered into the indicator, may be
fed to a printer or computer, includes: the weight of each ingredient and that of
the total batch; time and date the ration was mixed; ration number; I.D. number of the
operator and number of batches prepared.
Automatic cut-off switches can be
built into the indicator which will send a signal to shut off an auger, conveyor, or close
a gate when the preset weight of a particular ingredient has been added to the batch.
Multiple switches may be used in order to load a complete ration automatically.
DAVIS Mini Batching
System

Our digital readout may be upgraded
to a "Mini Batching System" which will store up to 25 formulas in memory,
operate many types of loading augers, bucket elevators, conveyors, etc., run the mixer for
a specified time, open mixer's outlet gate, close gate and repeat the same formula. It
also includes all of the features provided with our digital readout which is described
above. It has a jack on the back of the case to plug a standard 101 keyboard and
includes a printer or computer output port.
DAVIS Automatic
Batching Control

Increases
productivity and improves quality. Our Batching Control is a State of the Art Processing
System utilizing IBM Compatible Electronics. All commands are entered using pull down
menus on a standard full color screen with a "point and click" selection. The
Batcher can automatically operate augers, flow gates, liquid pumps, conveyors and motors
to quickly and accurately measure the predetermined amount of each ingredient in the
recipe, mix the batch for a specified time and discharge to the designated location.
Records are stored on the hard drive inside the computer for later
access.
Some of the features include
the following:
- Unlimited formula memory and
ingredient capability.
- Separate scales for main and micro
ingredients with micro scale calibrated in .01 pound increments.
- Records are maintained for the
amount of each ingredient used, as well as the total number and weight of each formula
mixed.
- Control will accept orders to mix
multiple formulas at a preset time: i.e. Mix 5 batches of formula four, 3 batches of
formula two, etc. and begin at 9:00 A.M. on a preset date.
- IBM PC-compatible based computer.
- Optional printer provides a hard
copy record of all information.
|
- All data is saved on the hard drive
for later access, plus program changes and updates may be made as conditions require.
- Manual backup controls as shown
above can be provided.
- Batching Control is adaptable to all
Davis Mixers now in operation.
- System may be built to handle main
ingredients only.
- Control may be upgraded at a later
date to accommodate both main and micro ingredients.
- Batching Control need not be
purchased with Mixer. It may be incorporated later.
