Stationary Models. This package unit combines two of our most popular machines into a Portable Feed Mill capable of rolling, mixing, weighing and delivering a complete feeding ration. We equip our Krimp and Mix with a Horizontal Mixer because it's the only one capable of accurately blending small amounts of trace minerals, medications, antibiotics and vitamins as well as successfully mixing liquid molasses, fats, oils,, high-moisture grain plus short cut silage and hay. The Horizontal Mixer's significantly greater accuracy and versatility make other types obsolete; especially with the tougher federal regulations and constantly increasing scrutiny of livestock feeding. Furthermore, Horizontal Mixers provide practically complete clean out, which prevents the possibility of contamination between batches. A drag unloader is furnished as standard equipment and is recommended for unloading mixed rations into bunks. An auger for unloading into self-feeders may be ordered in place of the drag at no extra cost. This auger raises up and down but does not pivot in a circle. Our swinging pivoting auger unloader is available as an optional item at extra cost. It spins in a full circle and raises up and down. This is an 8" auger with a 14' top section. It may also be used in combination with the drag unloader. Our Krimper-Kracker Roller Mill will process all shelled grains, high moisture or dry, and is available in two sizes: 10x10 and 10x20. The mill's Super-Tuff Rolls are of such significant hardness that we can guarantee them 15 years against breakage. We use a genuine alloy chill cast roll which is far superior to the ordinary gray iron roll found in most roller mills. Rolling grain requires far less power and the finished products are practically free of objectionable dust and powder found in feed ground with an old fashioned hammer mill. Our 10x10 Krimper-Kracker will roll up to 300 bushels per hour when equipped with rolls corrugated for corn only. With rolls corrugated for all-purpose work it will roll 150 bushels per hour or corn and milo and 100 bushels per hour of oats, barley and wheat. The 10x20 Mill
will roll 600 bushels per hour of corn when the rolls are corrugated for corn only. With
an all-purpose corrugation, the mill will roll 400 bushels per hour of milo, 250-300 of
corn and 200 bushels per hour of oats, barley and wheat. The Davis Krimp and Mix is built in the following 5 sizes:
