DAVIS MICRO SCALE

The Davis Micro Scale is designed to handle free-flowing ingredients.  Its features include:

• Systems may be ordered with as few as 4 hoppers and in different configurations with as many as needed.  A combination of 3 and 6 cubic foot capacity hoppers may be used.

• Polyethylene hoppers are available in 3 and 6 cubic foot capacity.  Polyethylene's low coefficient of friction and zero moisture absorption, combined with the shape of the hoppers, help eliminate arching and rat-holing.  It's also extremely abrasion and corrosion resistant.

• C-face motors with right angle gearboxes attached to stainless steel augers in the bottom of each polyethylene hopper control the flow of micro ingredients from the hopper into the scale.

• Type 304 Stainless Steel hopper calibrated in .01 pound increments.

• Outlet of hopper is either one or two dust tight roller knife gates with air cylinders, and made with all contact points out of 304 Stainless Steel.  Frame is aluminum channel for strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance.
