DAVIS DISCHARGE GATES

The Davis Standard Outlet Gate is rolled to the contour of the Mixer's tank and operated with a hand wheel.   Optional Air Cylinder is available.  Manually operated Push/Pull Gate for bagging directly out of Mixer's tank may be ordered in place of Standard Outlet (see below).

Mixer's outlet may be located in any of the 9 positions shown below.  For most thorough cleanout, we suggest that the outlet be located in the bottom of the tank (Positions B, H, or E).   Rate of discharge is controlled by setting outlet gate for desired volume.

Multiple Outlets may be used to reduce unloading time.  Two or three bottom outlets may be employed.   (Positions B, H, or E).  They are also helpful when used in operations that bag as well as deliver in bulk out of the same mixer.  For this application, both outlets must be in the same end, with one in the bottom of the tank and the other in one corner.  (Positions E and F, or D and E, for example).

Neither standard gate (bottom or side) provides a complete seal.  For those who require an outlet that prevents leakage, we offer the following options at extra cost.

Orifice Gate Butterfly Value Roller Gate Liquid Tight Knife Gate

All outlets are available in mild steel and stainless steel construction.  Please provide a list of the materials you plan to mix and we will provide our recommendation.

We welcome your inquiries by phone, fax or mail.  Our interest is in satisfying the customer.   Perhaps that's why we've been in business since 1894.
